Osprey did a great job with our repairs. Purchased a house out of foreclosure with somewhat unknown problems. They fixed what needed to be fixed in a timely manner and at a cost that was very fair. The work was well done, and everyone involved was diligent at checking on our satisfaction throughout the process.
Chuck Hunter, owner of Osprey Construction, continually demonstrates an attention to detail in every aspect of construction. We engaged him to build our new house on Daufuskie Island (an island with no bridge, so the logistics of crew, equipment, and materials is a major consideration). The house is undoubtedly the most solidly constructed one we've ever had built, with several innovative construction techniques designed to prepare the house for any weather or wave contingency. In addition, he went out of his way to engage our desires in design and finish details throughout the house. Finally, his in-house finish carpenter built beautiful, unique cabinetry in practically every room. We couldn't be happier with the end product.

I would like to take the opportunity to let you know that it has been a pleasure doing business with Osprey Construction. I am thrilled with my new home. This is the direct result of you taking the time to talk with me regarding every step of the building process. As this was my first experience with a full construction project, I was not quite sure what to expect from the process, especially the intricacies of building on an island with no bridge. Starting with the excavator, and including the framer, the sheet rockers, the plumber, the electricians, and the finish carpenter: these men were all courteous and diligent workers.
I would also like to mention what a pleasure it has been working with Chuck Hunter. He was right on top of everything that was going on with my project. Any concern or question I may have had along the way was either addressed or answered in a timely manner. Never did he make me feel I was bothering him when I would call his cell phone, with what may have been a trivial matter, but important to me. He hit every curve ball I pitched from permitting to inspections. Thank You so much.
